Terms of Use

Effective October 30, 2026

The short version. Be decent, use BiteFlip to pick places to eat, and double-check details with the restaurant before you go.

Restaurant owners: only claim a restaurant you actually run.

Using BiteFlip

By using BiteFlip you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13 years old. If you create an account, keep your password private; you're responsible for activity on your account.

Restaurant information

Restaurant names, addresses, hours, photos, ratings and prices come from third-party sources such as Google and OpenStreetMap, and from restaurant owners. They may be incomplete or out of date. Match rates and save counts reflect BiteFlip activity only; they are not reviews or endorsements. Please confirm details such as opening hours, prices and allergens directly with the restaurant.

Reservations and outside links

"Reserve a table", directions and phone links take you to other services. BiteFlip doesn't handle bookings or payments, and isn't responsible for those services.

What's not allowed

We may remove content, revoke a restaurant claim, or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Restaurant owners

When you claim a restaurant, you confirm you are authorized to act for it. Dashboard numbers are provided as-is, for your information. Any paid plans will come with their own terms before you're charged.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you add, such as your nickname, bio and feedback. You give us permission to store and display it as needed to run BiteFlip. For example, your nickname is shown to friends in your sessions.

Ending your account

You can delete your account any time from your Profile. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we stop offering the service.

Disclaimers and limits

BiteFlip is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, BiteFlip is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. These include a disappointing meal, a closed restaurant, or a missed reservation. Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or $50.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.

Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are meaningful, we'll update the date above and let account holders know before they take effect.
